This is a blog for our first assignment for AIM2011 , to be honest Iam quite a bit nervous about sharing my life & thoughts out there online on such a personal note . Oh well here I go !
2010 was overall a year that had many ups & downs ! Felt like a bit of a emotional roller coaster ride !
Things Iam grateful for that occurred in 2010 are : ( in no particular order )
-my health & the fact that I am well & always seem to find the energy.
-Grateful for the unconditional love of my beautiful daughter & watching her grow into such a clever , gorgeous & artistic being. At 3 & half she is definatley very strong willed & has such a great understanding of the world & others & a great appreciation already of fashion !
-Grateful for my husbands patience , love & kindness when I can be a real pain in the bum . Especially at that time of month , were I defiantley can relate myself to being 4 seasons in one day !
-Grateful for our trip to United Kingdom to visit my husbands side of the family. The chance to spend a wonderful month with them & have the best weather that London has ever seen ! England being a place where I definately could find myself living one day !
-2010 was a great year for visitors & we had many visits from family & friends both from overseas & interstate. Being a decorator my husband always says we have to take a week off before the guest arrive - so that we can style the house ! Dont think its that bad, but I must admit the guest room gets a different look each time dependant on the new guests tastes ! LOL !
-Grateful for the new friendships that I have made in 2010 with like minded people , friendships that I look forward to nurturing.
-Grateful for the fine food , beautiful wine & french champagne that I have shared with my husband , family & friends ! Do love bubbles !!Bubbles & coffee I say make everything ok !
-2010 was my daughter Viviens first ballet concert . At 3.5 & 90cm in height in a sapphire blue tutu she was definately one of the stars of the show ! I was so proud of her for her performance & was so wonderful to see her so excited both before & after !
- Grateful for our business surviving in 2010 with businesses in the luxury market feeling the pinch of the global financial recession .
- Grateful for the new connections made with fabulous new clients & inspiring suppliers.
-Grateful for the support of other women in business in our area , there are some great networks & groups here.
-Grateful of the expansion of our business in difficult times.
With the fire in my belly raging I now look forward to 2011 & look forward to a more balanced & overall secure year !
We have so many ideas for our business & new business in the new year !
New Years Resolutions , aspirations , wishes & goals for 2011 are :
I will manifest!
-Another overseas holiday for my family.
- Trip booked & date set for another UK holiday to be with the family.
- To do exercise & for it not to be considered a chore .
-For meditation to be a priority in my life & to have went on a mediation weekend with my husband.
- To have more romantic dinners & moments with my husband .
-To double our 2010 income .
-To have set up our new business & for the online shop be up & running & be bringing in its own successful income. With press releases for products being submitted & published across australia in both magazines & blogs.
- For the oppurtunity to put together/ write another design column , like what I currently do for a Profile Magazine & like what I use to do for The Sunday Telegraph.
- To have my design & lifestyle up & running and looking & doing fabulous things.
-To have at least 3 press articles for our work in at least 3 top Australian magazines this year.
- To get more interstate work for our business & 2011 .
- To take the time to smell the roses more & more quality time away from the computer with my wonderful family . Whom are my world & my life !xxxxxx
- To complete my AIM course & to have reconnected again with my spiritual side , to have made new friendships & made wonderful connections for life! I do feel blessed to already be apart of this group! thank you girls X
